Phacoemulsification of a brunescent-red nuclear cataract is performed in an eye with a relatively small pupil.

Learning Objective

After completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to present and discuss techniques that increase the efficiency and safety of phacoemulsification of dense nuclei.
