Surgery Desciption

This patient has a posteriorly dislocated PCL that is situated in a stable position in the peripheral, inferior vitreous cavity. Surgical options such as repositioning or replacing the IOL, or inserting a secondary IOL without removal of the PCL, are discussed.

Learning Objective

After completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to perform the anterior and posterior segment techniques required to elevate a PCL from the vitreous cavity and discuss surgical options for patients w posteriorly dislocated PCL.
