A severe Bell’s phenomenon is noted at the beginning of the cataract-implant procedure. Modification of the surgical technique is then done in order to overcome the problem.

After completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to apply techniques that permit satisfactory globe positioning during cataract-implant surgery in eyes with an active Bell’s phenomenon..
