Toric IOL implantation after removal of a moderately dense nuclear cataract.

Learning Objective

After completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to: demonstrate phacoemulsification of a moderately dense nucleus, recognition and treatment of subconjunctival infusion fluid accumulation, removal of epithelium from the undersurface of the anterior capsule and the rationale for doing so, and correct alignment of a toric IOL.
