Phacoemulsification is performed on a patient with advanced corneal endothelial dystrophy. Techniques that minimize damage to the endothelium are demonstrated and discussed.

Learning Objective

After completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to employ methods to reduce endothelial cell loss during phacoemulsification.
