Surgery Details

Surgery Desciption

A contact lens-intolerant, hyperopic (+6.00) young patient undergoes refractive lens exchange. Pre-existing strabismus, without diplopia or potential binocular function, impacts the desired postoperative refraction for each eye. In addition, intraoperative incision leakage is assessed and eliminated.

Learning Objective

After completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to Present IOL power selection issues in patients with strabismus and analyze and eliminate persistent leakage of a clear corneal incision.
